In celebration of our 15th anniversary in 2009, Oceanside Dental Spa donated $20,000 to the Campbell River Community Foundation (CRCF). The CRCF aims to support many community groups and charitable organizations, securing a sustainable future for Campbell River.
"The Community Foundation has given me an opportunity to give back to this great community from which both my family and I have enjoyed being a part of for the last 15 years and appreciate the quality of life it has offered us," said Dr. Rahn.
Oceanside Dental Spa and the Rahns are proud to be a Founding Principle Patron with the foundation, which strives to use the income in areas of education, health and welfare, culture, environment, parks, youth, and seniors.
| In the summer of 2009, Oceanside Dental Spa was a Gold Sponsor in the Annual Campbell River Community Foundation Charity Golf Tournament at Storey Creek Golf Course. Along with sponsoring a hole, the Smile Team distributed water, sunscreen, lip balm, and hand sanitizer to all the participants. Several lucky golfers even received bite assessments by our trained professionals, revealing the link between bite alignment and an athlete's balance. |  |
Later that year, Dr. Rahn and the Smile Team also sponsored a local family with a special Christmas dinner and a full fridge through the Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family program.
Oceanside Dental Spa has been a proud member of the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce since 2006. Dr. Rahn and the Smile Team are also members of BNI Discovery, and give professional presentations at several of the Wednesday morning meetings.
